Invite your friend to open a Varo Bank Account by sharing your unique referral link.

2. Your friend sets up direct deposit

Your friend receives their Qualifying Direct Deposit (the amount to qualify varies by offer) to Varo within 45 days of opening their new Bank Account using your referral link.

3. Get paid 

You and the first five friends in any calendar year who open and fund an account earn money. Check your email or app to see the amount of your offer.

Terms for Existing Varo Bank, N.A. Customer

By sending any individual your unique referral link (whether they become a new customer or not) or otherwise by participating in this Referral Program, you (as the existing Varo Bank customer, also “Referer” or “Sender”) agree and consent to these Referral Program Terms. Further, by participating in this Referral Program, you acknowledge and consent that Varo Bank, N.A. (“Varo”) may, in its discretion, disclose limited nonpublic personal information about your relationship with Varo to any new customer (the “Referee,” “Receiver,” or “New Customer”) who you referred to Varo. You represent and warrant that you have obtained consent from any and all Receivers to whom you have sent your unique referral link (your “Referral Link”). Varo is not responsible for messages you send.

To be eligible to receive a one-time bonus from Varo, you must have a Varo Bank Account with an available balance equal to or greater than $0.00, your Varo Bank Account must not be suspended or closed at any time during the Referral Program Period, and you must refer an individual who is not currently and has not previously been a Varo Bank customer (either with Varo Bank, N.A. or Varo Money, Inc.) to open a new Varo deposit account (“Varo Bank Account”). This Referral Program will run until terminated by Varo (the "Referral Program Period"). To complete this offer (the “Offer”) and receive a Bonus: (1) you must refer the Receiver to Varo using your Referral Link which you can find in the Varo app; (2) the Receiver must click on the Referral Link and open a new Varo Bank Account (subject to approval) during the Referral Program Period, therefore becoming a New Customer; and (3) the New Customer must also fund their Varo Bank Account with Qualifying Direct Deposits (between $500-$1,000, check your email/app for the amount applicable to your offer) received within the first 45 days of the New Customer opening the Varo Bank Account. Qualifying Direct Deposits are an electronic deposit of a paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security or Unemployment Insurance) from an employer or the government into the New Customer’s Varo Bank Account. Tax refunds and government stimulus payments, person-to-person payments (such as Venmo and Varo to Anyone), and funds deposited using a Varo routing number are not considered a qualifying direct deposit. Varo, in its sole discretion, will determine whether a deposit is a Qualifying Deposit for purposes of this Offer.

The Bonus will be deposited into your Varo Bank Account within 30 business days of the receipt of the Qualifying Direct Deposit. In addition to the above eligibility criteria, your Varo Bank Account must be open and in good standing when the Bonus is paid.

You cannot earn more than 6 Bonuses in a calendar year, including a Bonus you receive as a New Customer–in the event you complete more than 6 Offers in a calendar year, additional Bonuses will be forfeited. Only five Receivers of your referral link may receive a Bonus in a calendar year–any additional New Customers who would otherwise have qualified will not receive a Bonus. Check your email or in the Varo App to determine the amount you are eligible to earn. Varo reserves the right to modify Offers and provide temporary promotional Offers. The total amount you can earn in Offers may vary, but in no cases will exceed $1000 per year.

As sole sponsor and administrator of this Offer, Varo reserves the right to cancel or modify its terms or terminate any customer’s eligibility at any time and without prior notice if fraud, manipulation, or abuse of the Referral Program is suspected. The Bonus is void where prohibited. The Bonus will be reported on IRS Form 1099-MISC.

Terms for New Varo Bank, N.A. Customer

By opening a Varo Bank Account (subject to approval) via a unique Referral Link sent by a Sender or otherwise by participating in this Referral Program, you (the “Referee” or “Receiver”) agree and consent to these Referral Program Terms. Further, by participating in this Referral Program, you acknowledge and consent that Varo may, in its discretion, disclose limited nonpublic personal information about your relationship with Varo to the existing Varo customer (the “Referer” or “Sender”) who referred you, for purposes of servicing this Offer. Each Sender may refer up to five Referees for a Bonus each calendar year–you acknowledge and agree if you complete the Offer, but are not one of the first five Referees from a single Sender to do so, you will not receive a Bonus.

To be eligible to receive a one-time Bonus from Varo Bank, you must not have ever been a Varo Bank customer (either with Varo Bank, N.A. or Varo Money, Inc.) and must click on and use a Referral Link provided by an existing Varo customer to open a new Varo Bank Account. This Referral Program will run until terminated by Varo (the "Referral Program Period"). To complete this Offer and receive a Bonus: (1) you must use a Referral Link from a Sender to submit a Varo Bank Account application; (2) you must open a new Varo Bank Account (subject to approval) in your name during the Referral Program Period (thereby becoming a “New Customer”); and (3) you must fund your Varo Bank Account with a Qualifying Direct Deposit (between $500-$1,000, check your email or the app for the amount applicable to your offer) received within the first 45 days of your opening the Varo Bank Account. As sole sponsor and administrator of this Offer, Varo reserves the right to cancel or modify its terms or terminate a customer’s eligibility at any time and without prior notice if fraud, manipulation, or abuse of the Referral Program is suspected. If Varo determines you obtained a bonus through fraudulent methods, Varo will reverse the bonus deposit transaction(s) or recover the funds from your account. The Bonus is void where prohibited. The Bonus will be reported on IRS Form 1099-MISC.
